About Save our Children Center Nepal (SCCN)

Kami 15Save our children Center Nepal invests in childhood of the abandoned kids living in underprivileged circumstances forbade from education and their rights to enjoy as kids. Our mission since 2005 has been an everyday lifestyle and in times of crisis like massive earthquake that hit Nepal recently our work gets more intense. Our only mission around Nepal is to give children a healthy start to their lives so that they can grab the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We believe by changing a kid’s life now of course changes the future of Nepal and the Nepalese communities.

Save our Children Center Nepal (SCCN), a non-profit organization (NGO) led by social activists since its establishment in 16 December 2005 (08 Mangshir 2062 BS), according to the law of Nepal, as a non-profit making, child focused human rights organization. The organization is registered with the District Administration Office (DAO), Kathmandu registered under number 256/062/63). Soon after its registration with the Government, the organization was affiliated to the Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal (affiliation number 18808). Save our Children Center Nepal has its office established in Dhapasi V.D.C-6, Kathmandu.

The organization has established its residential care service for children who are orphaned and without parental care. The service offers residential care, education, Health and recreational facilities to children. SCCN provides a home for these abandoned and orphaned children with the aim to provide them with basic human rights such as health services, shelter, food and above all education, love and care, so that they may have a better future and better life. There are huge numbers of children who are orphaned, and are living in helpless conditions due to lack of support mechanisms to ensure their fundamental rights. All sections of society have a significant role to play to support these children to fulfill their fundamental human rights and freedom, and uplift them and their families economically and socially.
